If you are single, and looking to meet someone new, you might not be sure where to look. You’re over hitting up your friends for intros to people you have nothing in common with other than that fact that you are both single, but someone you might actually click with.
Join A Group, Club, Or Meetup Network
To meet new people, you must insert yourself in a new community. This is easier to do than you might imagine. Head online in search of clubs, group activities, events, and meetup groups in your areas of interest. At the very least, you will make new platonic friends with the same interests.
Replace Your Regular Spots
We all have our favorite restaurants, cafes, fitness studios, and local spots we frequent on a weekly basis. While should always keep your eye out to meet someone anywhere you go, find a few new places where you might be able to meet new people.
Rethink Who Is Right In Front Of You
We have all heard stories of couples who knew each other casually for years before they (or both of them) considered a romantic relationship. For example, the manager at the coffee shop who I just thought was super friendly—really had a crush on me. Rethink everyone you know, but don’t really know, because there maybe someone right in front of you.
If you want to meet new people, you will have to make a few changes—but the changes will be fun ones. And don’t write of singles events, because you won’t have to do the ring check there.
