Another year has flown by at lightning speed, meaning you might be looking ahead at 2018 and thinking about what you want to achieve in the year to come. Instead of committing to the same old resolutions that are quickly abandoned, here are the New Year’s Resolutions you should be making.
Invest In More Quality Time
2017 rushed by in a blink of an eye, but 2018 doesn’t have to be the same. Set a goal to weed out the excess and say no to the things you don’t enjoy. Fill that time with me time, trying something fun and new, and quality time with friends and family.
Traveling is an excellent way to experience new things, and at the very least break the monotony. Whether you take a day trip, last-minute weekend getaway, or a full-on dream vacation—your time away will be impactful.
If stress, worry, and anxiety are a regular state of being—it’s time for a fresh new perspective. Most of the things we stress and worry about never happen, so stop wasting the time and energy. For example, you might know that you were stressed out at this time last year, but you probably can’t recall about what. This proves the point that the stress it isn’t worthy of your time.
These are the New Year’s Resolutions you should be making—instead of the generic lose weight, get healthier, and save more money. Those are all good, but are likely to be a year-round goal anyway.
