Have a Spa day at home!

There are days when you don’t have time for yourself, and this can be exhausting. You need to pamper yourself, to remember why you work so much for your goals, and of course, to rejuvenate your body. What better way to do this than to go to the Spa? Or, even better, have a Spa day at home?

You will be surprised to see that there are so many things that you can do to relax at home, without having to wait for a few days to get an appointment. Besides, it will cost you much less and you can adapt your schedule depending on what you love. Here are some ideas that you should definitely try:

  • Take a bath with essential oils. There’s nothing better for your body and mind than a relaxing bath with essential oils. Depending on how you feel, you can choose different oils: lavender for a good night sleep, rose for your skin, musk for your mind. Instead of just smelling these oils (like you probably would), pour a few drops in the bathtub. Light a few candles in the bath and let the warm water relax you; after 30 minutes you will feel like a newborn. Don’t you feel better now?
  • Try new fruits. If you don’t usually eat fruits, you don’t know how energized you can feel after you have them. Instead of eating the same apples every day, try something new and interesting. Maybe a fruit that is not common in your country, or it is not growing on the same continent? This will be an interesting experience, plus you get some extra vitamins!
  • Pamper yourself. When you don’t sleep well, you damage your skin. You might notice that you have dark circles under your eyes, pimples that you did not have a few months ago and maybe even some dry patches in the T-zone. The solution? Prepare some organic face masks at home and rejuvenate your skin! You can use honey, avocados, berries, turmeric, yogurt and even essential oils, depending on what type of skin you have. Mix the chosen ingredients in the blender and apply the mask on your face. Rinse with cold water after 30 minutes and take a look in the mirror; aren’t you beautiful?
  • Dance like no one’s watching! You might not be a big dancer, but you know how to move on your favorite song. Contrary to the popular belief, relaxation doesn’t mean that you have to stay in silence in the middle of the forest. Making exercise and getting good vibes in the same time will also relax you and give you the good mood that you need. Play your favorite song, get some comfortable clothes and dance in the living room for 15 minutes. Believe me, this will do wonders for your attitude!

You can always improvise and find new ways to relax after a few difficult weeks at work. The only thing that matters is to find your inner strength and the power to follow your dreams!
