No Regrets—Putting Yourself Out There

No Regrets

I don’t know about you, but so far, my biggest regrets in life are rarely the mistakes I’ve made, because I can ultimately find the silver lining or wisdom gained. Instead, my biggest regrets are the moments I’ve let pass me by because I was too nervous, scared, or insecure to put myself out there. Even if having no regrets isn’t the ultimate goal, you can try to live a life of less regrets.

Timing Is Everything

Sometimes, the moments I’ve come to regret are moments that caught me off-guard. Spontaneous events that, if I’d had more time to prepare, I would have been all in. Instead, I waste my time with the logic of it all and miss the potential for more.

Is It Ever Too Late?

Yes, timing has a lot to do with success, but you must avoid the temptation to give up because one moment passed you by. What is life but a series of moments? If you are open, receptive, and intentional, odds are another moment will arise.

Even if you take that chance, and it doesn’t go your way, you won’t have to live with the regret of not giving it a go. The best part is, putting yourself out there will get easier—maybe not easy but, at least, not as nerve wracking. Write your own story, follow your instincts, and put yourself out there! Here’s to no regrets, or no more regrets!
