We Make Time For What Matters Most

What Really Matters Most?

Ask anyone what matters most in life, and the answers are fairly similar—something along the lines of your family and friends. But ask yourself this question, then take a look at your schedule. Does your schedule align with what you believe in your heart matters most? If not, your priorities have gone awry.

Work Is A Common Culprit

The fact of the matter is, most of us have to work to earn a living, therefore, most of our waking hours Mon thru Fri are spent at work. While there is no way around your 9 to 5, how much time are you giving to work beyond your 9 to 5? Whether through constantly connected engagement, or through stress and worry that infringes upon your personal time—it’s time to revisit your priorities.

It’s Not Just You

You might be all about making time for your family and besties, but they may not have the time for you. This can be extremely frustrating, even heartbreaking—so look for a way around it. If needed, go to them, and find ways to spend time together doing something they can squeeze in—like their weekly yoga, or hang with them while their kids are at dance class. Or why not run your errands together, with a quick coffee break somewhere in-between.

The truth is, we make time for what matters most. If your list of what matters doesn’t match your schedule, make today the day that changes.
