Time. It’s something we could all use more of. While you can’t add any more hours to the day you can learn how to optimize your time in 2018.
Hire A Helper
There once was a time when hiring personal assistant was only for those with lots of cash to spare, but not anymore. Now you can easily hire an hourly or project-based errand runner, personal assistant, or skilled professional that you can delegate the tasks you don’t like to or at least the ones that don’t have to be done by you. If you have kids, do the same for free—by giving them chores. Even an hour or two a week, or during your crazy busy weeks can really make a difference.
Get More Sleep
I know it sounds crazy when the first thing on your mind is probably to get up earlier and go to bed later. However, the more sleep deprived and caffeinated you find yourself on a daily basis—the less productive you will be. Aim for 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night, going to bed and getting up at about the same time every day. Aim to give yourself one day to sleep in.
Organize Your Life
Last but not least, organize your home and office so it is easy to find what you need. Organize your schedule, and schedule everything electronically so that nothing falls through the cracks. Prioritize the items you add to your schedule and eliminate the things that don’t need to be there.
You can optimize your time and improve the quality of your life in 2018!
