Small But Impactful Changes

If you are inspired to make a few healthy changes in your life, you might not be sure where to begin. The good news is that there are a few small but impactful changes you can begin today!

Hydrate

If your body isn’t getting the hydration you need your immunity lessens, digestion slows down, energy decreases, rest is less restful, mental clarity is decreased—and you may be more irritable than usual. Aim for at least 64 ounces of hydrating fluids a day, predominately from water or unsweetened herbal tea.

Breathe

We breathe without second thought, but if your breaths are shallow then you may not be getting enough cleansing oxygen. Aim to take 5 deep belly breaths each hour, or at least 20 at the end of the day.

Stretch

There’s a reason why yoga is popular, it releases tension from head to toe—making relaxation easier to achieve. However, yoga might not be your thing. No worries! If you can spend 10 or more minutes a day stretching gently from head to toe you will feel much of your tension melt away.

Last but not least, consider adding a green smoothie, freshly squeezed juice or green supplement to your daily routine to boost your antioxidant and fiber intake. You can start these small but impactful changes today.
