As kids, we look forward to each and every year as a sign of our growth and maturity, but once we hit 21 there are no more major positive milestones. By the time most of us hit our mid-20s we start dreading our birthdays instead of celebrating them. This is backward! Spend the first 20 years or so eagerly awaiting our next birthday and the remainder dreading them. Here are just a few reasons why you should still celebrate your birthday.
It’s Good To Celebrate
It doesn’t matter what it is, but it is always positive and healthy to have something to look forward to. It’s even better if that something is one day a year that is all about celebrating you.
To Break The Monotony
If we don’t make the time in our schedules to live our life, then it will just fly by feeling as though it’s Groundhogs day. Having a birthday bash is also an excellent opportunity to hang with your favorite people.
Some years are better than others, but either way, your birthday is the excellent time to reflect on how far you have come and what goals you have yet to achieve.
Even young teens and twenty-somethings are making less time to celebrate their birthdays, but your birthday is a reason to celebrate!
