Finding your purpose. It’s a hot topic in authentic living, but most people are going about it all wrong. Here’s why.
It Doesn’t Have To Be Earth Shattering
If you believe that your purpose is your unique contribution to the world, you may be on the lookout for the earth-shattering thing you can do to have widespread impact. First and foremost, we all have a widespread impact to which we simply can’t measure. Secondly, we aren’t all meant to be public figures or household names. Find what comes naturally to you, and ask the questions of “What would I being doing even if I wasn’t getting paid for it?” that will lead you to your purpose.
Cumulative Experience May Be Required
Some of us know our purpose from a young age, such as our passion for baking or our natural ability to connect with others on a personal level. However, some of us require cumulative experience to find our way to or to develop the skills required to excel in our purpose. Keep your eyes and mind open and you will find your way.
Last but not least, finding your purpose should never be a source of stress. Always remember, your life is meant to flow.
