Do You Really Want It?
First, you must ask yourself if it is something you really want—or is it something someone else wants for you? For example, a degree or promotion that doesn’t make your heart sing. Once you figure out what you want it’s time to challenge your belief systems.
Letting Go Of Limiting Beliefs
One of the largest roadblocks to your dreams and goals are fear and limiting beliefs. First, you must identify why it is something you don’t believe you can achieve, which almost always stems from the family or culture we were raised in. Working with a therapist, life coach, or LOA coach can help you to break these beliefs.
Letting Go Of Fear
If it’s not limiting beliefs that are holding you back, it’s likely fear. But you must not allow fear of the unknown to win out over the fear of the known—that you don’t want or enjoy. You must trust that you will find a way to make it work.
The things we regret in life are the things we didn’t do, try, or say. Believe in yourself and you will have fewer regrets.
