It’s Time To Spice Up Your Coffee
Other than cinnamon, sugar, and flavored syrups most of us have never tried adding a flavor to our coffee. The recipe below might sound like a lot of contrasting ingredients but they are designed to balance one another out.
Why Turmeric Coffee?
The benefits of turmeric are many with anti-inflammation and digestive benefits being at the top of the list. If you are going to drink a cup or two of coffee anyway, why not make one with turmeric?
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/3 tsp ground ginger
- 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 ounce expresso
- 1 or 2 tsp of honey
Place all ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat and whisk until hot—but not boiling.
