One of the top reasons to drink this herbal blend is to balance your digestive tract. In Ayurveda, all illness and disease start in the digestive system. By drinking this tea at least 3 days a week, more if your digestion is off balance, you can eliminate gas, bloating, and sluggish digestion.
CCF tea can be brewed in bulk and kept in the refrigerator cold, but it should be warm when you drink it. Although a warm beverage it is a perfect tea to cool your body from the inside out—making it perfect for fiery bodies, or to help keep you cool in hot and humid weather.
CCF Tea Recipe
Look for CCF tea bags or pre-mixed solutions, or make your own:
- 1/4 tsp whole cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp whole fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp whole coriander seeds
- 2 cups of water
Simmer for 5 minutes, strain and enjoy. To make in bulk add ½ cup each CCF seed to a glass jar. Portion out 1 ½ tsp to 5 cups of water, simmer, strain, and store in the fridge. Always heat before drinking.
For best results eat after your meal to aid in digestion, but you can drink any time of day to hydrate, cool, and improve your digestion.
