Movember is a month dedicated to increasing the awareness around men’s health, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health challenges, and suicide prevention. To show your support you may be letting your facial hair grow longer than usual. Here’s how to let is grow without looking sloppy this month.
Commit To A Style
If your job requires you to look put together you
can still participate in no shave November.
We’re only a couple of days into the month so before your stubble gets too long
determine what style of beard you want to grow. Once you decide the shape and
style you will know how to trim and shape it as it grows. If a goatee is all
you can commit to that’s ok as you are still showing your support of men’s
health.
Invest In Some Grooming Products
At the very least you will need to add beard oil to your daily routine. This will help to keep your beard soft and manageable. If you already have a beard but are going to allow it to grow fuller than usual, you may also want a beard wax or gel. Wet your beard daily, but only shampoo it twice a week, with a beard and hair wash or transition to a beard-safe daily face wash.
Here’s to empowering men to get their regular checkups and speak openly about their physical, emotional, and mental health.
