Both cleaning your house and keeping clutter at bay is easier said than done. These tips will make it easier to find the time.
Daily Clutter Sweeps
If you tackle clutter daily it won’t take long to keep under control. Dedicate 5 minutes a day in each room to put things back in their place. If you have a large family, get everyone involved. For young kids make things fun by making cleanup time a game or race.
Don’t Do It All In One Day
Schedules are busy so don’t try to get it all done in one day. Delegate between family members and create a shared family schedule of tasks that can be completed in 20 minutes or less. This alone will ease things up.
If the tips above don’t ease things up, hire help. This might mean dropping your laundry off, hiring a cleaning company one or more days a week, or even having the babysitter come an hour early to help around the house if they are up for it.
Here’s to the healthy, clean, and clutter-free home you deserve.
