Make TIME For Yourself

Former Vedic Monk and Motivational Leader Jay Shetty has several thoughts on how we can all navigate these stressful times. Here is how he suggests to take some TIME for yourself.

Thankfulness                                

It may be more difficult right now than before, but we must all remember what we must be thankful, making now the perfect time to begin a daily gratitude practice, like a gratitude journal.

Insight

Now is the perfect time to grow, which could be achieved by learning something new. For example, if you are struggling with gratitude—read a gratitude book. Or, take the time to learn or try something you have always wanted to.

Meditation

There has never been a better time to take up a meditation practice. He suggests starting with just 5 minutes a day to clear your mind, reconnect with your body, and find a sense of peace.

Exercise

Exercising isn’t just good for your body, but also your mind and spirit. You will instantly feel a boost in your mood after working out. Keep things fun by playing a sport, dancing, riding your bike, or taking the dog on a long walk.

The TIME you take for yourself can make a world of difference.
