I hear you! It sounds like a lot of time and initially feels impossible. However, we must invest in ourselves, so begin by setting aside 1 hour a day for yourself. If you must, get up 1 hour early. Here are a few ideas of what to do with your extra hour.
Create A Spiritual Practice
There are countless ways you can utilize your extra time for spiritual benefits. Consider doing a daily devotional, morning meditation, or reading a book that feeds your soul. You could listen to gongs, chant, sing, spend time in nature, or do anything that makes you feel spiritually connected.
Exercise, Shower, And Eat
Exercising first thing in the morning can deliver a powerful energy boost. And if fitness often falls to the bottom of your to-do list, then it’s a double win. In one hour, you can get in a 30-minute workout, shower, and maybe even have time to eat or at least sip some coffee before everyone else is up.
Work On A Goal
Goals require an investment in our time, but you will only find the time if you make the time. Select the time of day that you are the most productive and if you must, set a timer so that you don’t go over.
There is no right or wrong and feel free to mix up what you do with your extra hour. Here’s to putting yourself first!
