    We live in a day and age where there is a coach for everything, including your health. We’re not talking about a personal trainer, but someone who coaches you on every area of health and wellness.

    What Is A Health Coach?

    Each coach has there specialty, but the overall goal is to help you create a personalized approach to managing your health from the inside out. You may continue to work with a physician, trainer, nutritionist, and alternative healthcare providers—but your health coach is the one who keeps everything connected. They focus on the whole body, as well as the mind, body, and spirit connection.

    For example, you may need to lose 50 pounds, but what led to the weight gain? That must be worked on as well as improving your nutrition and working out.

    It’s Not About Your Weight

    It’s easy to forget as we are constantly being sent contrary messages, but our health has far less to do with the number on the scale—and far more to do with how we feel. It includes our mental health, how well we are sleeping, stress and anxiety levels, focus, energy levels, endurance, and more. Yes, it includes our nutrition too, but the goal will be healing your body, not necessarily losing weight.

    There is so much conflicting health information out there and having a coach will help you find what will work for you.
